SHRINK BUNDLING & TRAY WRAPPING
Less
expensive than paperboard packaging, shrink bundling is increasingly
becoming a preferred packaging method. Shrink bundling utilizes two
rolls of film, heat-sealed to form a sleeve around the product. The
bundle is advanced into a tunnel where the film is heated. The film
shrinks tightly around the bundle as it exits the tunnel. With a
variety of side closure options
to
choose from, shrink bundling film is usually intended for
applications
where toughness and puncture resistance are important. Shrink wrapped
bundles reduce movement and product damage during shipment, and provide
protection against harmful environmental conditions. Through the use of
clear or print registered shrink films,
shrink-bundled packages also provide an attractive display for your
retail marketing message.
